The Tiny Print Showcase featuring 145 works by artists from across Colorado, juried by Johanna Mueller (Greeley) and Raymundo Muñoz (Denver). Alongside "You Don’t Have to Be Perfect, But You Could Try Harder" by Marble’s own Tracey Harris known for her razor-sharp wit and painterly precision.

The opening reception is from 5-7pm with artist talks beginning at 5:30pm. The gallery is open weekdays 10am-5pm.

The ‘Move with Me’ Program is designed to introduce littles (18 months to 3 years plus a caregiver) to the joys of dance. Using fun, interactive music, props, and make-believe, we will practice listening to music, following directions, and moving our bodies to the beats! A healthy snack will be provided.

El programa ‘Move with Me’ (Muévete conmigo) está diseñado para sumergir a las personitas entre los 18 meses y los 3 años de edad (y una persona adulta a su cuidado) en la alegría que nos ofrece la danza. Utilizando música divertida e interactiva, accesorios e imaginación, aprenderemos a escuchar música, seguir instrucciones y mover nuestros cuerpos al ritmo del compás a través de la práctica. Ofreceremos un refrigerio saludable.

Do you love to read nonfiction? The Carbondale Library invites you to read a nonfiction book of your choice around a monthly theme and then join us as we discuss and socialize around the books we read. The theme for September is any nonfiction book of your choice about music. For more information call the Carbondale Library 970-963-2889.

Whether you love painting, drawing, mixed media, watercolor, or want to try something completely new, Art Lab is a place to create, relax, and connect with other young artists. No experience is needed, just bring your imagination and a willingness to make something awesome!

Este programa de estudio abierto le ofrece espacio, materiales y libertad a adolescentes que deseen explorar su lado artístico. Ya sea que te guste la pintura, el dibujo, los medios mixtos, las acuarelas, o que desees probar algo completamente nuevo, Art Lab es un lugar para crear, relajarte y relacionarte con otras personas artistas jóvenes. No se requiere experiencia previa, ¡sólo necesitas tu imaginación y el deseo de crear algo sorprendente!

Have you always aspired to be a radio DJ at KDNK? Or did you see the Kygo and Calvin Harris concerts I think wow, I wish I could do that! Or have you always wanted to know what it's like to touch the DJ decks? If any of this resonates with you, we invite you to join our free hands-on introduction to DJing workshop where Roaring Fork Valley resident DJ "Da Walrus" will guide you through the history of DJing and give you the opportunity to spin real DJ equipment in a variety of styles.

Whether you're curious about DJing as a hobby, interested in performing at events, or just want to try something new, this workshop is a fun, welcoming place to get started.

This workshop is open to ages 10 and up, and no experience is required, all you need is your curiosity and a love of music!

¿Tienes la aspiración de convertirte en un DJ de radio en KDNK? ¿O viste los conciertos de Kygo y Calvin Harris y pensaste: “Wow. ¡Desearía poder hacer eso!”? ¿O tal vez siempre hayas querido saber lo que se siente poder tocar las consolas de los DJs? Si alguna de estas cosas hacen un eco en ti, te invitamos a acompañarnos durante nuestro taller práctico y gratuito sobre locución y DJing en el cual Da Walrus, residente del valle Roaring Fork, te guiará a través de la historia del DJing y te dará la oportunidad de probar un equipo de verdad en una variedad de estilos.

Ya sea que tengas curiosidad sobre el DJing como hobby, que tengas interés en hacer presentaciones durante eventos, o que simplemente desees probar algo nuevo, este taller es un lugar divertido y de bienvenida para que puedas comenzar.

Este taller es para personitas de 10 años de edad en adelante y no se requiere experiencia previa, ¡lo único que necesitas es curiosidad y amor por la música!

Join Jacy Sundlie, TRE® Senior Trainer and Certified TRE® Provider, Lyndsey Harder to experience TRE®, an easy to learn body-led technique to release the stress and tension of everyday life, immediate or prolonged difficult situations, or traumatic life experiences. The session is an introduction to TRE®, geared for personal use as well as for professionals in healthcare and emergency agencies. Each session includes theory and practice of TRE®.
Choose to attend one or more sessions Thursday evenings Sept 3 thru October 1st .
Dress for comfort. Bring mat, pillow, blanket, water bottle.

An engaging time where you and your child are invited to listen to stories, participate in large motor movement, experience sensory activities, and be able to interact with other children and caregivers. This is geared to children 0-3 years old.

Éste es un momento divertido e interesante en el cual tú y tu peque pueden escuchar historias, participar en movimientos que fortalecen la motricidad, experimentar actividades sensoriales e interactuar con más peques y personas adultas a su cuidado. Este programa está diseñado para peques de 0 a 3 años de edad. El programa será facilitado en inglés.
